I've had this TV for about a month, having lucked out and got an ex-display model for less than half the high street price, and I love it.

Connectivity is good, with 2 Scarts, two HDMI's, s-video, component in- and out-puts, DB-15 (VGA for PC input, to you & me), and a lonely little co-ax for analogue in hiding away in the back. all inputs can be covered with clip on panels, to neaten things up.

Switching between inputs is a breeze, and it works well as a second screen for my PC. Speakers are out of sight, which helps add to the compact, slick look of the TV - it looks very swank, and can be swivelled up to 30 degrees in either direction on the supplied stand, although the picture is crisp and clear from any angle.

In fact, the picture is -always- beautiful, clear, and clean, with no pixellation or loss of quality even on normal analogue television. The Sound booms and whistles cleanly, and I find having it on about 50% volume is enough to get the neighbours banging on the doors and complaining. :).

The config is flexible enough for you to tailor sound and picture to your tastes, even going so far as to wether the power light is bright, dim, off, or replaced by a stylish little blue glow from a hidden LED. Picture and sound can be adapted to your tastes to a similar degree.

Overall, the whole kit has a solid, quality feel to it, with everything working exactly as advertised, and nothing feeling plasticky or cheap, from the stand to the remote. It oozes quality. I'm happy with it.

(Oh, and it's got controls out of sight on the TV as well, on the side, so it wont be a case of lose the remote and you're sunk. As so often happens with modern TV's.)

If you're looking for a 26" television then look no further. I purchased the JVC LT-26DXBJ through Amazon market place (Empire Direct) and it arrived in two days.
Having narrowed the selection to Panasonic, Sony or JVC on picture quality the Sony was quickly dropped as the 26" version is missing many of the advertised features (look for 'not on 26" model') in the literature. Also both the Panasonic and Sony sound like an old 14" portables if you're not running a cinema sound system.
The JVC picture quality is amongst the best I've seen but it's in the sound that it really shines. With Maxx-Bass and Voice Enhancer even the 26" gives big sound that no other wafer thin LCD can manage. Add to that all of the connections that you could need and a simple setup and menu and it gets my 5 stars without hesitation.

This has to be the best 26" LCD TV at the moment it has a excellent picture through the in built digital tuner.

2 HDMI inputs for future High Definition compatibility ie Sky HD, PS3, HD DVD, blu-ray, or an upscaling DVD player.

I am impressed with this TV as it has a adjustable backlight brightness & and a normal brightness.

Upscaled DVD's when using a upscaling DVD player are excellent improving the picture. Upscales to 1080i no problem.

You can use the component input for progressive scan instead which is just as good for DVD's or Xbox 360 if you like.

Has a D-sub input for PC use which you can set the resolution to 1366 by 768 when using PowerStrip software.
