At This Price You Would Be Mad Not To! - 31 Jul 2008

Having seen this TV for sale at Sony, John Lewis and local Home Cinema shops for as much as £899, when I saw it at this price I had to snap it up (£680 odd pounds at the time of writing). I ordered at about 1pm on a friday and (with express delivery), it arrived at 8am on the following day (yep that's right - a Saturday!).
This set has won a "What Hi-Fi" award (five stars) and was awarded a "What Video and High Definition TV" Best Buy.
It has the most astounding 1080p 24 fr/per second playback I have ever seen.
If you want a fairly small yet beautifully formed HD TV then this is the set for you. We are now enjoying; Sony quality, deep blacks and vivid whites in blu ray playback, excellent connectivity from PS3 due to "Bravia Sync", games that look astounding in 720 and 1080p (thanks to the updated Bravia 2 engine) and a freeview tunner that found 13 channels in a renowned freeview black spot, through a standard ariel.
There are enough features and screen settings to play with to ensure that film fans can manipulate the picture to match their personal viewing preferences and the sound is convincingly meaty for such a small set.
I am delighted with this set so far.

I have had this TV for just over a week and I highly reccomend it!
- The picture is so bright thanks to 33,000:1 dynamic contrast
- SD TV looks very good. Much better than on my old 24" CRT
- HD content through a PS3 is amazing
